If you've got nothing going on friday night, I urge you to check out Toad's Place in New Haven. Tomorrow night will be the second in a four-concert series celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Horizon Studios and the Horizon Music Group. It also a benefit for the Dillon Flanigan Foundation.
The bands playing are Mighty Purple in their original lineup, Gargantua Soul, Mortal Madness, Seth Adam, Dog Face Boy, and Saving Echo. Tickets are $20 at the door, but I have passes that will grant you admission for $10.
Also, if you come to the show, make sure to stop by and say hi. I will be doing a live recording at the show. So just look for the guy with a laptop and some recording gear.

I was going to go to that! I still haven't been able to see Might Purple. Oddly enough, I'll be working at the Space that night which Steve of Mighty Purple owns. I feel bad that every time he's told me to go to one of their shows, I have to do something else.. especially if it's for a good cause =(
