So, it looks like I'll have my choice of 4 different job offers. Trouble is though . . . not one of them is clearly better than the others.
Most of them would require moving, which I expected.
#1 Requires moving to Silicon Valley. LOTS of stock options, could very well get rich there if things go well. But the salary wouldn't really cover my mortgage here plus rent and with the way the market is I'm not sure I can bank on selling my house quickly.
#2 Good pay, great bennies, nice people, good hours. But it is in a VERY conservative and religious city. Not sure how I would fit in there.
#3 Good pay, long hours, long commute (I'd say probably 13-14 hour days if you count the commute), decent chance I could make a lot of money there.
#4 Decent pay, ok bennies (but probably not enough to cover mortgage and rent) have to move into a very rural area.
