Ok so last night Rocked out at The Call. Now I make it a point to invite as many people as possible everytime I go. Why do they rock? Well let's put it this way.
Every year 95.5 WBRU does a local band contest. Hundreds of bands apply. Tonight is the SemiFinals. Top 4.
Fungus Amungus is in the Semifinals. They win and next Friday it's the finals. That's how good this band is. Last night they played about 4 new songs AND they mixxed some of the older ones. Not dramatically. Just enough to really fine tune the sound. Last night rocked.
This band rocks so much it's like having my own secret lil peice of gold. Now I'm the kinda guy that if I see you eating alone, Guy/girl/whatever, I'll invite you to come sit with us. I like including people. Why? Cause my life rocks and I feel and want to give people a good time. So to the people who didn't show. Who went to the same club and listened to the same music they did last week. It's their loss.
Next week we are scheduled to go to Sugarbush in Vermont. They're playing 2 gigs SAT and SUN night and the day is to ski and snowboard. I have never snowboarded in my life so......
I've bought these killer glasses for my adventure. They are so me. Completly dorky but I can rock em. But if Fungus plays tonight and wins, they have to play the Finals FRIDAY. Which means we party Hard Friday. Get up at 5AM to drive to Vermont. Party HARD that night. ESPECIALLY if we won the finals the night before. Snowboard and ski either drunk or hungover. Rock out Sunday night and drive Monday mornin.
Ouch.
Next weekend I intend to play the role of Phoenix: Die and be reborn over and over.
Tonight? There is nothing. Boston is a no go. The Ugly a distant dream.
Looks like I chill home and do nuthing.
