AHHHHH first day back outta the house, so refreshing. I went out and did errands. Mostly I just needed to get out and see people. I need a hobby, or a project. I have some ideas. I met this guy whos a friend of a friend. COMPLETLY petrified by women. ANY woman. It's funny as hell. I asked him to wing and he just looked at me funny.
What's a wingman?
WTHF What the hellfuck?!!!!
So I school him in the definition. He starts scrambling like a cockroach.
Why are you asking me? Why not him?!!
He's straight out panicing. It'd be amusing if it wasn't so sad. I think I need to repair him. Gotta figure out how tho.
Last time I just walked up to the hottest girl I could find and asked her.
Exscuse me? I need a favor.
Already they're rollin their eyes. Another comeon o joy.
I have a friend who is honest and nice. But absolutly scared to death of hot chicks like yourself. I need you to go over to him, sit down and have a conversation. Don't flirt with him, lead him on, give him your number, nothing. Just talk. He needs to learn that it's not the end of the world to talk to you. If he asks for your number just say you have a man but that doesnt mean you can't meet interesting guys. I might swing by and help him out. Give him tips that'll give him confidence. But mostly I just want him to think he can be interesting to women. You up for it?
Last time it worked. Vaguely. He didn't respond well to the lack of any rewards from the conversation. He didn't realize it then. He still doesn't know she was a plant.
I don't think that'll work this time. He's too far gone. I need to think of something more subtle.
It's also very fragile. Too teach someone to not care at all about women's opinions of you while at the same time respecting them and who they are is a fine line. Sometimes the guy worships them. Which is generally castration. Other times they remember all the times THEY screwed up around women and develop resentment which gets straight out hateful. It's hard for men to learn self respect without it being at someone else's expense. Just look at high school. You got cool by picking on people. The more you could get away with the cooler you thought you were. Men are designed to be competitive,at the smallest level to see everything as a "Winner/Loser" It's hard to teach us otherwise. We think our respect has to be taken from others. I'm gonna have to get him to be cool and confident all on his own, without comparing himself to others.
God help me but I'll get this kid laid if it kills me.
