I got the Gentoo KVM server working really well (still needs more RAM though). I set up a virtual machine (Ubuntu server) to run a private KForge install, got it working with GIT, and put some of my personal projects on it. Next I'm going to be looking at maybe setting up Bugzilla so I can keep track of TODO/bugs on my projects as when I don't work on them for a few days/weeks I forget shit.
First week of the quarter is over. The class that I thought was going to be the "easy" one (if there was such a thing) looks like it might be the hardest of the 3 I'm taking. The other two classes are pretty much what I expected (so far).
Oh, so the KVM server is so loud that I'm trying to find ways of either quieting it down or providing heat/cooling and put it in the attic somehow. I could put it in the "spare" bedroom and turn it off when we have a guest, but I'd rather have it in a place where it can run 24/7 since that was the point. All I know is that it can't stay in the office as-is because I can't hear myself think...
The wifey and I watched Melancholia last night and I want my 2 hours back!!! That is a serious candidate for being the worst movie I have ever seen. It was neither entertaining nor educational! I believe this is what happens when a writer takes random story bits, places the bits into a blender, and then pours out the grey goo product that resulted onto film. Even more disturbing is the high ratings it has on IMDB!
This leads me to believe that either I am seriously out of touch with reality or everyone else is...
