UGH!! FUCK LANDLORD'S!!!
They are all horrible assholes who whine or make excuses not to fix their shitty rental while demanding you fork over rent immediately.
In my experience anyway. And my gypsy ass has had alot of landlords whilst wandering around the country.
Since our current landlord is really more of a slumlord (our roof leaks, toilet is broken, vanity is falling apart and half of the place is not insulated... btw we live in Alaska, where insulation is not just important but a life or death issue in the middle of winter) and our slumlord has known these things for the better part of a year and never fixes anything but always asks for money to take his golddigger girlfriend and her brats on expensive camping expositions or concerts in other states...
We found a lovely place that would save us lots of moolah so that oneday somewhere far over the rainbow we will be able to own our own place and be naked potheads in privacy and peace. But no. Potential landlord has a partner whom I will refer to as douchebag McGee rented the place out from under us.
