Alright, I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I have been busy!
First of all, thank you all for saying Happy Birthday, it was much appreciated! I had a pretty good birthday, I went out to dinner with my love at a place in Atlanta called The Vortex. It's a pretty cool restaurant, they hang pictures that kinda look like Suicide Girls on the walls and all sorts of other stuff...check it out if you're in the area! After that we went to watch Abram's brother in perform (he does drag). Here's some pics from that night!
This is Abram's brother performing in his drag (he's a she really and is a drag king...not queen.).
This is one of the drag queens performing! Sexy!
This is Abram and his brother(sister), Ethan before Ethan's performance!
Abram and I
Yeah, so that was a fun night!
The next morning it was departure time. We set out for Colorado that day and boy was it an adventure. The first night we slept in our van
in a Wal-Mart parking lot. We woke up, but we didn't make it far before our van broke down!! We were stranded in BFE Tennessee. We had to walk half a mile in the rain to get car parts! UGH!
We stopped in Memphis for dinner and a beautiful sunset by the Mississippi River.
Here's Abram and I enjoying the sunset...
We saw some beautiful country on the way back, we took the back highways. Here's an amazing cloudy swirly sky in Oklahoma.
Oh, and our rescued kitty did very good on the trip!!
So, we made it back eventually and it was good to be back!! We really missed those Rocky Mountains...there's nothing like them! So, even though we made it back safe and sound...our van practically blew up on us when we got here! The radiator really hates us...but Abram took some tips from my Grandpa and now our van runs perfect! Ugh! Talk about stress!
Abram getting his hands dirty...
So! We're back in Colorado and we're trying to decide where our next move will be. We were thinking Seattle, but we just don't know yet...Hawaii sounds lovely! In the meantime, Abram is constantly refining his tattooing skills...
this is his most recent piece (aside from the ones he's always working on on me!)
And me, I'm just making as much jewelry as I can...check it out in my pics...
Here's a little sample of the earrings I make
Well, that's all for now...
