Went to bed at midnite on my day off. Got a call at 0407 saying we had to muster in full Delta gear, which for me means Flak Jacket and Helmet. My son Nixon woke up before I left the house, so I put him back to bed. Got back around 0615, got undressed, laid in bed, and then Nixon came in to wake me...

dezzie:

So it's just past 3:30am Tuesday here, and I'm getting ready for work. Back on Temporary Duty with Airforce Security Forces, and I'm working the dayshift. Yeah, it sucks a bit, and I'd rather be on nites, but at least I'm working with some cool people. 14-16 hours days suck though, hard.
harlet:
ewww...yuck! Im sorry! Sounds interesting tho. smile

Quick update. Working on nites now for the past month. Nites actually works out better for me because I can spend more time with the wife and son during the day. It's good times, I guess. For those that are out of the loop, I'm still stationed in Okinawa, got just over a year and a half left. Okinawa is okay, but my command sucks...

I've been in the Navy for almost fifteen and a half years. My wife and son are here with me, and I'll be stationed here until 2012. I've been married for over a year...

Hey all, time for a little update. My son was born on the 20th of November. His name is Nixon Mathieu Le Wilcox-Ball. A mouthful, I know, lol! I'm typing this as my son is laying on a giant pillow on my lap. He's a month old now, was and, as I'm sure all parents know, it's been a lot of ups and downs. He's...

Okay, it time for mysecond blog of the year, I believe. Let's see: I'm still stationed in D.C., still living in Northern VA. I still don't like the command, but I'm dealing with it. I have less than nine months until I transfer, and then it's back to the Middle East. Good times. On the 7th of July, Rea and I will have been married...
