These last couple of days I have gotten infatuated with two brittish men of comedy. I've always had a thing for men that can make me laugh, because, let's be honest, laughing makes me happy. Not much to analyse there, really. I think the equation would go something like this: man of comedy + me x time spent together = a happier me. That's my thought anyway. I could be wrong, it's happened before.
BUT! (Get on with it!) YES...
So, who are these men you wonder ever so curiously. I shall tell ye shortly.
Russell Brand. He is a brittish stand-up comedian and TV presenter, and may I add, a brilliant man. Used to do drugs a plenty, such as heroin, but says he's now completely clean. I for one belive him, others might not. Why would you go out and say that you're clean if you're not, anyway? If you're doing drugs, you might aswell do 'em and get on with it, I say.
Here's a photo of him. He looks like a birdsnest on top of a black magic wand, but I don't really care. He's absolutely mad, and goes on rants about random things, that's pretty much all he does, but I love it.
He's the kind of person that I'd love to be best friends with, because I think he'd make me look cool and could make things I said sound funny.
So, my next crush on brittish man of comedy is..... Noel Fielding off The Mighty Boosh. If you haven't seen the Mighty Boosh, I don't know if you'r like it. I like it, but you know, we're all different and all that. I think it's his character on the show that I like (I can say this with confidence, as I haven't actually met him), he's so laid back and confident. And cute, which I find helps the whole infatuation process.
So yeah. I've found a new genre of men that I find attractive. Funny men with weird haircuts. Brittish funny men with weird haircuts. Brittish funny men with weird haircuts and tight trousers. That's right my american friends and acquaintances, I said trousers instead of pants! It's shocking I know, but bare in mind that I have just come back from a holiday in the Brittish Isles, and have spent numerous hours in front of the computer listening to the likes of these to maniacs and their rants in, might I add, a brittish accent. It rubs off.
This is one of the clips from the Mighty Boosh I can't stop watching over and over. So random, but so funny. I present to you, the Soup Song.
I think I have ranted on for a nice couple of minutes now. Hope you enjoy the weirdness of my obsessions. More will follow in due time, I'm sure.
Take care, bye bye now.
