I'm not into New Year's resolutions, but because it's something everyone talks about I always make general goals for what I want to accomplish in the coming year. I had a rough time this time last year and I decided that getting healthy would be one of the best things I could do for myself. Over the past year I lost 27 pounds! I know it took a whole year, but I'm pretty damn proud of that, because I feel so much better. I wanted to become healthier not just through weight loss, but in my everyday life. One of the biggest changes I've made is eliminating harsh chemicals from my life, and I feel that it has made a big change in my allergies. I'm going to post some pics of some of my favorite products and foods that have made 2009 a healthier year.
