The Dresden Dolls opened dramatically at the fillmore last night with a passionate Pink Floyd cover, complete in uniform. While the Dolls' performance was amazing as always, I was a little disappointed at the amount of material. Opening acts kept the crowd interested and awaiting, but when Brian and Amanda finally made it on stage they seranaded us for less than an hour. Amanda was stunning and enticing on "Delilah" and "Missed Me" but the crowd missed the Dolls' staple songs like "Coin Operated Boy," and "Shores of California". As usual, the set list contained Amanda's pet song, but weakest link "Girl Anachronism." Fortunately, the set didn't end there, and the band came back on stage for the grand finale- an eclectic version of Annie Lenox's "Sweet Dreams".
