I'm back!!!
Back from 2 weeks of relaxing vacation... 4 days aboard a Carnival cruise ship in the Carribean and a week in Florida. While on the ship, our one day stops were at Key West and Cozymel. Both places are absolutely beautiful - clear blue waters, gorgeous beaches, palm trees, tropical weather, yummy drinks with little umbrellas... what more could I have asked for?? I also went snorkeling for the first time in Cozymel, exploring the rocky shore with its colorful assortment of fish and crabs. It was out of this world.
The cruise ship itself had the tackiest, glitziest decor a la a cheesy Las Vegas hotel, and the cabin rooms were small and cramped. There was plenty to do onboard though - broadway style plays and R-rated comedy shows, 2 swimming pools, a casino, an art auction with free champagne (I drank 6 glasses straight and passed out halfway through the auction, hehe), bingo games with cash prizes of up to $1000, and the best part - THE FOOD!!! You could eat whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted - everything from Carribean-style to Indian to gourmet entrees and desserts that looked like art sculptures. The food made the trip for me - it was, in a word, amazing.
As for Florida, my family met up with all our relatives in Orlando. We drove through Miami on our way there, and I was blown away by the BEACHES!! Absolutely breathtaking - white sand, clear warm water, palm trees swaying in the breeze, it was like stepping into one of those picturesque postcards that say "Wish you were here." Orlando didn't impress me that much, though it was pretty in its own way. It was just too touristy for my taste. Around every corner was another cheesy gift shop selling Disney shit, and people sure love their buffets out there! I hate buffets - they're almost always a guarantee of mediocre or just plain bad food.
I loved seeing the family again - it's been years since I last saw my cousins and now they're all grown up. Carolyn and Christin were little girls the last time I remembered, and now Carolyn's in junior high and Christin's no longer a toddler. My cousins Danny and Stephanie are freakin' giants now, both way taller than me, even though I'm older. We all did the tourist thing and went to Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, and Kennedy Space Center. I personally liked the Space center - I saw the space shuttle launch site and learned all about the process of building and maintaining a space shuttle and its trip through space. Learning about space is utterly fascinating.
Our vacation was a great time overall, although I was getting pretty damn tired of my family halfway though it. My younger sister and brother were constantly bickering and wouldn't shut up, and my mother was getting on my nerves like no other. She still treats me like a little kid and I HATE IT. She really drives me up a wall sometimes. We're in a fight right now and I wish she would just stay out of my business, she can be so fucking nosy about everything. AARRRGHH.
Anyways, I'm glad to be back in lovely San Diego. I've missed being right by the beach and partying with my friends. I haven't gotten blazed in 2 weeks, and I was pining away for one puff from a joint. Especially since my mom's driving me crazy. I've also missed all the lovely SGs!! 2 weeks I've missed of hot naked chicks. Lots of catching up to do.
How's everyone doing?? Glad to be home.
