I get to announce a wrestling card with The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase as the special guest this weekend. While this is some awesome news and something I've been looking forward to ever since I found out in May, it's also the thing that has been making my week go EXTRA slow. It's pretty crazy. If you'd told the 10 year old me, watching WWF Wrestling Challenge on Saturday mornings that some day I'd be doing this I probably wouldn't have believed you. I also probably would have said "What are you doing in my parent's living room? STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER! I NEED AN ADULT! I NEED AN ADULT!" My dad is coming to the event too, this will be the first time he's ever seen me do my ring announcer shtick. So I really hope it's a good turn out. If anyone who is in the area (and is interested) our show is Friday the 6th in Saint John (LBR) and Saturday the 7th in Fredericton (York Arena). Doors at 7 on both shows

I hope everyone in Canada and the US had good national holidays for their respective countries.

On an interesting side note, I had an interview for my job this week. Not a new management/vetting kind of interview, but a straight up job interview for the same job I've had for the last 3 years. If successful I'll go from constant term extensions to full position. A red tape interview. Ugh. I tell you, every day I get more and more ground down by my day job. One of these days, I'm gonna make a living at something I love to do. But today isn't that day, so off to work.
