All you need to do is file them. You get credit for taxes you pay elsewhere, so chances are I'd probably owe little, if anything, back to the U.S. because the Canadian income tax rates are fairly similar. khoos still has to file taxes up north. I expect that the U.S. government is going to have far bigger problems than chasing me down to file my taxes if things keep going in the direction they are going.
