Well there's any amount of cycling on at present. Too bad i don't live in Europe so I could actually watch it at a reasonable hour (or at all). The Dauphin Libr is in the mountains at present with two classic climbs in two days: Col de L'Izoard today, and Galibier tomorrow. Both a bit of a honk even on an MTB.
Tour de Suisse started today with some (very) big riders in more ways than one. Here's Big Tom Boonen winning todays stage:
No wonder he's smiling, check out the prize:
Jan stayed in the pack, but seemed ridiculously happy. Perhaps the prevelence of cake shops through Switzerland could explain his cheerful demeanour? Pics should keep skooter happy for a bit...

This: Beckham plays with the wrong shape balls
made me choke on my chocolate-cinnamon coffee
I suspect that he's played with all shapes and sizes of balls in his lifetime.
That's too bad that your week sucked. Sucky weeks suck. Did you at least get to get out and about?
I also suspect that the reasons you think rugby is beautiful are not quite the same reasons I do Thus I shall officiate
But ya know who I used to like watching were France. They used to have really clean formations (I have no clue the proper terminology) compared to England. And I would always go down the pub with my Kiwi friends to watch the All Blacks. SA were good too. They (kiwis) kicked some serious England ass. Actually, I always supported whoever was playing against England, in whatever sport, primarily because the fans were such dicks. I do the same thing here: Boston Red Sox/New England Patriots fans are on par dick-ness-wise with England fans. They are a hair away from becoming the equivalent to hooligans.
