@cameronstewart Thank you SO much for saying this.  I work at a comic shop and am always trying to tell our pull list customers to let us know as soon as they hear about a title they want.  We do have to stick to a budget and we rely heavily on our initial pull list numbers when we order.  I hate having to tell a customer that we sold out of a great new comic because because we didn't anticipate the level of popularity.  I always try to talk up series I'm personally excited about (*cough* Batgirl #35 *cough*) so people can add it early if they're interested, however people still often wait until way after our final order cutoff to add things.  I know many customers don't understand how far inf advance of a release retailers have to order and the way you explained it is 100% spot on.
