Glitch!
I wanted to try something different with this one - after a while the smiles and pouts become fairly standard and I wanted to challenge myself to draw an unconventional facial expression. Typically, when drawing young female faces you must avoid adding too many lines, or else the face will look old. However, when someone is scrunching their face up it creates a lot of extra lines. The challenge is to balance the creases while still preserving the youth and cuteness of the face.
I sound like a teacher. Zzzzzzzz

I really like how you've captured the cheeky look, how long would something like this take you to do?

I do the line art fairly quickly, around 10-20 minutes, the colour takes a little longer but as I'm practicing more the faster I can do it. Each of these portraits takes a couple of hours max. I couldn't afford to spend much longer on them anyway - I got work to do!
