12/19: Tell us about the best/worst Christmas gifts you've ever received!
Well let me just tell you.. So everyone has that aunt, right? The one that puts you on a pedestal. That you always thought was an amazing person, but couldn't quite figure out why you thought she was so weird? She always gifts you the strangest things. Whether it be simple things like Lisa Frank pencils and notepads, complete with stickers, or eclectic items made from other countries.
One year, my aunt decided to gift me a small bag that contained a jewelry box, a cup that contained a weird notepad and some pens and pencils, some socks, some stickers, and a coin purse. I was fourteen or fifteen at the time. I had made clear to my entire family in the proceeding years that I didn't believe in purses or handbags, just my back pockets. I really despised my front pockets at the time because this was when I had one of those dinosaur flip phones that were indestructable.
Anywho, that had to have been my worst present yet. The socks didn't fit, the jewelry box fell apart, the cup's paint chipped off every which way (it was in no way labeled hand wash only), the pencils were covered in glitter, the beads on the coin purse fell off, and I had bad luck the rest of that year. Guys, I was gifted bad luck. I didn't even know that was possible..
