I'm posting a cry for advice. It's not anything major by any means, really. I just want to learn how to do self shot sets. Maybe not even necessarily for this site, but I definitely want to learn more tips on how to do this and make it look as amazing as some of the photos that I have seen. I'm dying to get back into the whole modeling business and it's rather difficult without all the necessary funds and/or photographers in the area. I am really looking into an area that would be amazing for shooting, and I really want to practice self shot.
I really think that this kind of experience would help me out in the long run as well. Being able to practice my own poses and angles would be able to help me shine a new light on what can really work and not work as I get new lenses and all that good stuff.
I like photographing humans and animals a looooooot more than I care to photograph the landscapes around here.. They aren't so interesting. We have some beautiful spots, but it's not as worth the photographic mention as other places around the world.
Anywho, I got a little off topic there. If you or anyone you know are good at self-shot photography, I would be more than appreciative for any hints, tips, or tricks. Even if you have or know of any good reference videos or readings, I would take those as well!
Hope all is going well with you and you are having at least a decent Monday! Mine has been a little crazy so far. I went to work this morning and the entire front of my store was covered in water. However long there has been water in the small façade on the top of my building, I do not know. All I know is that it rained heavily yesterday and all of a sudden we had a new indoor water feature! It was like being at the aquarium, all the smells and no fish though. Oh by golly it was awful.. and then my car decided to stop starting.. I'm convinced it's going to take at least $300 to fix and I am not at all happy or prepared to spend that kind of money right now. This is the worst holiday I have had so far and I am hoping my bad luck runs out really soon..
On a lighter note, I am off to send packages in the mail and workout a little. Have a great day everybody! I am trying to make the best of mine. :)
