Well, after being ripped apart in the Sex Talk forum 
I've come to the conclusion that I really don't feel like being a whore. One poster hit me really hard when he talked about people he knew who had no other option... homeless teenagers living under bridges and it seriously made me realize that while I may think that I'm having serious problems... there are so many more options open to me than there are to others and that I should've never even considered hooking.
Two of my really good friends have offered to loan me money so that I can have my car fixed so that I can get to Texas and have been kind enough to allow me to not have to worry about paying them back until I got back from TX and started my nanny job in the fall.
I also plan on going to the courthouse on Monday to see if my ticket was filed on time and if so, to see if I can work out some kind of payment plan with them.
Also on Monday, I plan on going up to school to see if I can work something out with the Library. The thing that sucks about that is that now I can't register for classes until I pay them back... but, I'm sure I can figure something out.
So, anyways. Thanks for the info. There is a lot of stuff I didn't know about the judicial system and figuring out a way to extend the deadline or even have some sort of payment plan.
Haggling with the school and the courthouse should be fun though... much better than having a random dick in my mouth

If you don't feel comfortable tackling the job yourself (it's not anything very complicated), *discretely* talk to one of the younger techs at any of the auto shops in your area, and see if you can get them to do the work on the side. They're usually only getting paid a very small fraction of the outrageous "labor charge" that you get soaked with as a consumer. If you bat your eyes you could probably get the job done for $50 or less, net cost to you $150.
