oh, where to start. let`s start with friday Oct.21, shall we? we shall. i was supposed to show some of my artwork at a house party/artshow on the eastside but i didn`t get my paintings back to Austin on time. i showed up anyway cause the show ended up being sponsored by Mickey`s & that meant free booze. got really drunk & told myself that would be the extent of my weekend. that is until I got to work the next day & a friend told me he had an extra ticket to the Rolling Stones show at Zilker Park. he asks me if I want it. fuck yeah!!! I`ll take it!! so, I leave work early so that I can hit a coupla bars before I hit the show. got there just in time to get myself a coupla more beers & a primo spot closer than i thought i`d ever get to see the Stones. awesome. all i can say is they rocked and ruled!! this & the Ramones Houston show back in `92 rank as the best I`ve been lucky enough to have seen. I shoulda rested on Monday night but drank & grilled up some BBQ at home. Tuesday: Nashville Pussy at Emo`s. wednesday: movie night at Beerland. thursday: all night drink fest at home. friday: Peelander Z at Beerland & hanging with some hometown friends Paul Business & Daisy Bomb. Saturday: King Kahn & BBQ Show!!!!!! fuckin` dance party mania. the Detroit Cobras sucked as usual, so I left during their set & drank a few beers at home until everyone left the show & headed for the after party. Sunday & Monday are a blur. Tuesday, the big day. hit Beerland (again). it was super crowded but was alot of fun. downtown Austin was a madhouse. had the next day off to recover but another friend from back home came over & she got me drunk again. spent the next few days laying low then got a call from home. i`ve been asked if i`d be interested in doing a mural !! fuck!! i`ve never done that before. they`re offering me some real money & i can only imagine what kinda exposure it`ll give me. yikes! hey look, I was Jack the Ripper for Halloween! also, I posted a few more new pics!! fun.
