This weekend just ended for me today or (tonight). I ended up taking Monday off from work and headed to Sierra at Tahoe for some snowboarding. It was great as always but it did get a little slushy, but I guess that means spring is right around the corner.
Saturday The Nickel Slots played in my home town of Woodland. I thought I was back in high school. There was a ton of old friends and of course lots of family. It was a great show and it is always fun to play there. A friend of mine took this picture of me playing. Usually I look pretty crappy but this one is not bad.
Then of course we lost an hour of sleep, so I was dead on Sunday. However I was able to work on my Buick and make it all nice and sparkly. I really would love to have one of the models (either SG or Hopeful)take a set with it. I think it would look great. So if someone out there is feeling it, let me know.
Our next show is March 26th at Old Ironsides downtown Sacramento on S and 10th. I'm going to post in the Central Valley Group as well as the Sacramento Group.
Opening the show will be the Cheating Hearts from Chico and then us (the Nickel Slots) and then headlining will be The Tattooed Love Dogs. They have been around for a while and do not play that often. They are a great band and I hope to see SG represented. the weather is going to be great and hopefully everyone will have been bitten by the spring bug and will want to come out for a beer and some great music.

unfortunately yes. port land is quite a drive from me. think super north washington, and that's where i'm at.
