This morning I went outside my comfort zone. Crowds or any place that can potentially have lots of people tend to panic me a little but. In an effort to try doing something different I went down by the Gonzaga campus to try getting some sunrise photos on part of the Centennial Trail along the river. That it's near downtown was one reason I normally avoid it, another is that lots of people use this part of the trail for jogging, cycling, pedistrian commuting to work or school. Naturally as I get there before dawn I hear shouting ahead of me in the dark and begin getting rather nervous. Turned out to be an Army ROTC squad doing their morning run. After that I relaxed quite a bit. Even though I didn't end up with many photos from this morning I'm quite pleased with myself for the attempt.
