now playing:
Mudvayne - "Forget To Remember"
And...
"Dig"
So, I finalized the deal. I've bought a house
In just 6 short months, the house will be built (fingers crosed) and I'll be moving on up outa this place! Usually, things like this get me really anxious, nervous, scared. Not this time though, I'm feeling pretty fucking confident actually. There were a few minor hicups along the way, the lawyer is an ass, my agent failed to mention one very important detail, the builder failed to disclose a few minor details that turned out to be major headaches which my jerk of a lawyer managed to work out so he's not totally without benefit to me and then the builder lost my deposit check...how do you lose a check written out for that much moola? Really, how does one manage to do that? Staple that fucker to your forehead if you have to. I don't get it. Maybe I'm just stressed out bay all the stuff that preceeded it...probably...I'll just write another check.
Yeah, i must be stressed out.
Anyway, i've been neglecting certain aspects of my life over the last two weeks (I blame Maligne for that so this weekend, I'm getting my shit done and lining up my ducks.
I read an interview a few days go with Peter Steele from Type O Negative by Daniel Robert Epstein aka AndersWolleck and actually read it right to the end. It didn't bore me, forcing me to skim the paragraphs thinking "blah blah blah" as with other recent interviews. This guy, has one hell of a great sence of humor.
That was the very first SG interview that didnt make me want to smack myself in the face in the hopes of achieving some level of stimulation beyond that of the interview. And considering the prominence of some recent interviewees, thats saying somthing. They may be popular, but it seems they have little to say.
Maybe I'm just stressed out.
On another note, I have just received my copy of the annual and highly anticipated Mountain Equipment Co-op Spring/Summer catalog. I will now, once again, turn the pages and drool over all the gear i want (dont need) and cant justify (cant afford).
It is also that time of year when Easter Cream Eggs are plentifull and that makes me happier than anyone could possible know.
Later, peeps!
