I'm watching "Ray" for the first time. The man was a genius, pure and simple. Well, except for the drugs and promiscuous sex. He was a musical genius...that's more like it.
It brings me to a question I have pondered for quite some time:
Why don't people dance anymore? Sure, people go to clubs and grind on each other like horny beasts, but it's not really dancing.
Most men don't like to dance. They think it's a "chick thing." What's up with that?
I'd love to go out and take some swing classes. If nothing else, I'd shed a couple pounds.
----------------------------------------------------------
Do you ever get so wrapped up in being a "grown up" that you forget how young you really are?
I was consumed by a relationship, in love with the idea of having a professional job, and content with staying in every night.
That relationship is long gone, the job is no more, and I'm getting my social life back.
The other night I made out in the back seat with Led Zep in the background. How fuckin' sweet is that?
There was an hours-long conversation devoid of awkward pauses, cutesy tickling and that tense anticipation of, "Who will make the first move?"
It was fantastic.
Ha.
Life is pretty goddamned good sometimes, you know it?

I finally gave into the cult that is Myspace.
Here's the link to my page.
I hope you're all doing well!!!
