Happy Holidays to all!
It's nice to finally have a proper Christmas.
I get to drive up to Beverly Hills tomorrow to pick up my brother. I'm so excited! I love my brother more than anything. Since he was born, we've always had this exclusive connection. As a four year-old with my brother just an infant, all we did was look at each other and we'd start laughing. Words or funny faces were never necessary.
He's been the only thing to keep me going for the longest time. Thoughts of hanging myself from the rafters in the garage were quickly forgotten when I'd realize that I could never do that to him. He's saved me simply by having been born.
Christmas, for me, has almost always been about presents. This year it's different. I'm so anxious for the man in my life to wake me up in the morning for Christmas breakfast. I'm so antsy over having to wait for his parents & brother to open up the presents I got them. I'm really, really happy about being away from my step-dad on Christmas.
Until now, I felt like Christmas meant I had to love those around me. Now I really, truly do.
So, to hell with Christ, gimme presents, family, and Martinelli's sparkling cider. I'm set.
{PS} I created a "Thanksgiving" folder in the pictures section. Here's one of the pictures:
