Had a fantastic night out yesterday. The girlfriend and I went to an outdoor screening of Donnie Darko in Kensington Gardens in London. Heeeeeuuuuuoooooge screen, 10,000 people and about three bartenders serving warm overpriced Stella, but still a laugh. We just crashed out on a blanket with hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream. We wanted to get a couple of bottles of wine, but weren't allowed to take a glasss botttle from the bar to our balnket; obviously incase I tunred into an irrational killing machine and attacked the rest of the audience. Rather odd that they worry about htis, but their security were searching people at the gate purely for alchohol, so Stella's figures wouldn't suffer, as apposed to looking for bombs! Anyhoo, the upshot was that we ended up having to effectively buy wine by the pint.......three pints and a few stella's later and everything was getting a bit shabby.
Still, I managed to get off my arse on a day when the studio was free, and shot an 'alternative model' with view to getting an SG set up. I just have to wait and see what Sean thinks of them. I have been chatting to Philip (AKA Lithium Picnic) about a couple of things recently and he was kind enough to cast his eye over them and deemed them worthy, so fingers crossed. Incidentally in the course of corresponding with the esteemed Mr Picnic for a few weeks, I have to say that he is not just a very talented artist, but an all round 'nice chap'.
Free week coming up so I'm slipping a few days of tinkering with the plymouth in between end of year accounts, three months of expenses and four months of overdue backing up.
Oh, and any canon eos users out there; I command you to buy a 580ex flashgun. It is utterly, utterly fabulous! If you do any celeb or press stuff and need a good flash bracket, then the canon item specifically for it is equally wonderous, if a tad pricey.
I've also been looking at my page as I'm typing and have suddenly realised that my profile pick has me smoking a cigarette in the gayest fashion possible, and all my favourite girls look underaged. I think I have some issues I need to discuss with my analyst!
Gotta go, beers getting cold!

Good luck with the set, and there's nothing wrong with liking girls that look underage.
As the saying goes: I like my women like I like my scotch: 12 years old, and full of coke!
