You asked for it; check out the pictures of my new ride on my pics page. I have a quote for a full rechrome, engine re-build, new trim on the interior, and a nice set of Cragers or Boyd Coddington rims. It's a 383 big block h-code engine (same as the small roadrunner) with a 727 3 speed column shift. Give me a few months...

That's a funcking nice ride man!

that is fucking awesome!!!!
Finally got my new car sorted. Found a nice '68 plymouth satellite with a 383 and 727 trans in it, with a very expensive balck respray. Its a recent import from the US and is as solid as a rock underneath, no rust, no welding.
Bumpers need some chrome, and the interior could do with a trim, but otherwise the goth-mobile muscle car of choice!

Soooooo cold....soooooooo cold
I thouht the whole open plan house thing was a cool idea until the temperature dropped to ice age levels. I've got the heating on full blast and I'm still shivering. I think it could be partly down to hanging around outside a court trying to monster Judy Dench's daughter who is out of rehab and back before the judge for drink...

Hey Calvers,
Got a Canon lens question for you. I'm wanting to add a bit of length to my kit (longest is 50 f1.8). Was looking at the 85mm lenses. Is the f1.2L that much better than the f1.8 version? Would love your thoughts on this. Thanks!

Finally I think I might have found a work experience assitant. I can't believe how difficult its been to find someone to work as a photo assist (initially for free until I know they can earn more than they break). My last one broke a flash head on her first shoot and then called two hours before the next shoot to say that she couldn't...

God damn it, I should be spending less time in here and more out working, but I've had a complete attack of 'can't be arsed' for a week or so. Hence why I've been filling the photography forum with my no where near humble enough opinions.
Still I have a shoot tonight at a resteraunt, so I'll get fed, meetings tomorrow and thursday and a...

I hate opening photoshop and getting the 'can't be arsed' feeling. Ive got some good stuff that should be done by now
Goodbye, Hunter. Don't know why you did it but it's a very HST way to go.
I'm am such an idiot. I decided to clear the site for my new log cabin studio today which involved chopping down an apple tree, chestnut and a great big spikey bastard. Four hours of hard slog with 'Daisy' (my pet Stihl Chainsaw) and I have the shakes worse than Ozzy! Not too much of a problem in itsefl, but I have a model portfolio...

Yeah, you def. need to upload some pics on that folder too man
Bloody hell, I've got friends! If only real life was like this. Most friends I have were met via swingers personal add's, purchased on e-bay, or now reside under my patio making them difficult to talk to.
I have just had the crappest day ever, two stories I was meant to be covering never happened and my agent called me to ask if I wanted...

Bloody models. I've just got back from waiting outside a girls house for her and her friend to do a test shoot. I think she got cold feet as sher called to blow me out. The stoopid thing is I think she was expecting me to get her naked and rattle off 200 frames. All I wanted was to get her stats, and overview of...

Hi Calvers, Can you help me with my workflow please??
A fine jpg out of my 10D measures 3072 pixels by 2048 @ 180dpi. I should stair interpolate that to 300 dpi in 10% increments as the first step. If I choose to go larger than the out of camera size (roughly 17x11), I want to incremental increase pixels by 10% increments also, or is that redundant given I'll already cranked up the resolution to 300 dpi? Conversely, if I'm cropping, I'd do so after the upsizing to 300 dpi..
If this is true, it would seem that I want to basically size my image to its final format prior to applying any corrective actions (contrast, etc.) with the USM being the absolute last action I'd use.
Does this make sense, or have I overanalyzed?
Thanks!!!
