Two crazy Halloween parties, Old Friends, and Daylight Savings Time all add up to one wild night that I won't forget anytime soon. Hanging out in my kilt and my Scotland National Football team jersey only added to the good times. It was funny, I mean I was supposedly dressed up as Scottish Football Hooligan, but in many ways last night I was able to be more myself than any other night of the year. I mean, I am Scottish, I was wearing my national garb and it was one of the few times I felt completely cool with slipping and out of my accent. It is nice not to be self-aware once in a while. On another note, I saw Flags of Our Fathers earlier tonight, great film. It does a fairly good job of illustrating the more human reasons that people make the sacrifices they do during times of terrible conflict. Of course that opinion is only based on what I have read, heard and seen indirectly, so it doesn't count for too much. I normally fully believe that you should try something before you dismiss it out of hand, but it will be a strange day when I am convinced to try war.
