*Alright, it may look like a pile of after-party hell on a bun, but it is damn good. Here is an awesome (modified) recipe for Bobby Flay's California Burger. Serves two Humans, or one Crab Person.
1. Cook up your patty, with salt 'n pepper rubbed onto both sides, and nothing else. A thumb print indentation in the middle of the raw disc will prevent bulging and make your thumb really slimy! Please, please, please don't press the juices out with your spatula while its cooking, or turn the patty more than once.
2. While that beast is roasting, mix up in a big ol' bowl:
1 Avocado
1/4 of a small onion
1/2 of a jalepeño
1/2 of a lime's worth juice
1 1/2 Tablespoon of chopped Cilantro (Coriander)
A pinch of the Salt n' Pepper goodness
3. Toast your buns (I know your all pros at this), with some cheese. Bobby uses cheddar, but I recommend Provolone or ¡Pepperjack!
4. Toss the salad. Watercress or Fresh Spinach is amazorg, but Kale will also work for you L.A. types. Slap a thick-ass slice of tomato in there somewhere and let the goodness run down your chin.
5. Instagram the picture. Try different filters to be more unique than the other hipsters.
