Today has been great Despite it starting far too early as I to catch a train at 9am I can honestly say that it was worth it. Thankfully for once I was actually reasonably prepared having sorted out the bags I wanted to take with me last night, and it was before 1am as well!!! A real rarity for me *lol*
Miracle of miracles the trains are actually running on time today as well... hmm I'm waiting for something to go wrong here you know, nothing ever runs this smoothly for me. There's always something. Ok so maybe I spoke too soon as the phonecall telling me that the washing machine had finally packed up and that we'd have to fork out for new one wasn't the best news in the world. But seeing as we'd had it for at least 5 years and I wasn't at home to help mop up the mess I'm still seeing today as a blessing
Made it to the Olympia in good time (and without any hitches of any kind!)to meet Peter from Alt.Wear Magazine. We have a brief chat and then he whizzes me around the floors for a quick look at the clothes we're interested in for the shoot. Finally stopping to take pity on a poor girl who hasn't had a chance to eat yet today kindly takes me to the cafe for a drink and a sandwich. Unfortunately said sandwich is seriously minging (despite being hideously expensive... well 4 bottles of pop and 2 sandwiches should not come to 14 by anyones stretch of imagination... not even JK Rowlings!) and I can't eat all of it. Take my advice and avoid cheese salad and mango chutney it's disgusting!
By this time we've met up with leanne (other model) and her bf, just having a chat about things and waiting for Rose (who is one of the nicest people ever btw *kiss*) who is going to be helping us out today. Rose is also one of the best and most striking fetish/cyber models I know. So once she turns up we spend the next hour buzzing round the various stalls and grabbing clothes for us to schlep down to the basement for the shoot. All I can say is its a good job that it was trade only as the amount of clothes I have seen and fallen in love with today I would have ended up taking out a second mortgage just to pay back my credit card bill *lol*
The next couple of hours are spent running backwards and forwards between the mens loos (yes there were no ladies nearby so we had to change in the blokes! Luckily they were deserted down here otherwise they'd have walked in to knickers being flung around and pvc and rubber hanging off every door handle. Mind you the haunted urinals were a little disconcerting (are they meant to flush by themselves?) I also know why I don't wear latex now.... its fucking gross! I don't care if people think it looks sexy, its like being stuck inside a giant extra thick condom. No thank you.
Fell completely in love with this cyber *romper-suit* from Dane. With cut outs that show off my tattoos perfectly and my hold ups and knee high victorian lace up boots I felt completely *lara croft* and teamed with this absolutely amazing coat from this Latvian designer whose name i can't remember at the moment (sorry) I just felt like a total goddess and could have strode around the olympia all day wearing just that. I have to say it was a real wrench to part with it. Certainly made sure I got Dane's card so that I can pick one of these up when they hit the shops. Other favourite of the day was Freyagushi with her wonderful quirky clothes, esp the ones that incorporate actual medical equipment! Can't wait to see what the pics with the oxygen mask look like *lol* Spent so much time climbing over stairs and bouncy around like a blue furry tigger (it was the coat!) that people must seriously think I'm one acid half the time Not sure about the fur coat and bikini combo but well you gotta try everything once right...
All in all a great day. It just flew by to be honest. Just hope the pics turned out alright. And that my feet feel vaguely human again in the morning !

Yes, urinals have the lil electric eye that senses when it gets lighter when someone moves away and they flush automaticaly so you don't have to touch the handle that every other guy who has used it touched after grabbing his wang as he hasn't washed his hands yet. Although usually if they have them in the urinals they usually have them in the toilets too.
I have no clue what mango chutney is, but yes, it does sounds disgusting.
Will we get to see the pictures you took? I'd love to. You in latex (yea, while I've never worn it, it sure sounds uncomfortable to me too) sounds just TOO gorgeous. As does all the other dozens of outfits you wore.
i can talk for my country if it were an olympic sport
you should see half the stuff on my website/journals etc
I'll be sure to show some pics when i can
