OK- well here is a part of the book that I'm working on- So let me know what you think!!!
As we arrived I realized that it had to be a hard sight to see because all of the deputes were standing a good distance away. We got out of the van and went to the area that the deputes were, they said their hellos as did I. You get to know them pretty well doing this line of work. My boss and I walked closer to the car that was the deceased last living place and what now was an absolute mess. He had taken his own life with a Winchester 270 using hollow point bullets. From the neck up there was nothing. The entire inside of the car was covered with brains, bones, hair, skin and other matter that was not recognizable. It was at that moment that I realized that I would be fine and that I could do this. We went back to the van and got out our stretcher and some safety equipment to keep us safe from this mans matter. As my boss removed the man from his temporary tomb I was instructed to pick up the big pieces. So I picked up his nose that had his mustache attached from the emergency brake, I found his bottom lip and six or so teeth still attached to a piece of his jaw on the dash board. Those were the only parts of his face that I found. I then had to scrap brains and tissue matter off the driver side window. I found a chunk of his skull it the top of the car through the inside lining of the roof. That bone almost went through the metal of the car. Later after we had the man securely on the stretcher and in the van I went and spoke to the deputies to make the arrangements for them to come to the mortuary to take pictures and finish their report. The deputies would soon be making the call to the family and breaking the news to them about what the circumstances were. Letting them know how he was found and who they could contact so that they could make arrangements and be kept up to date on what was going on.
Well- There will be soooo much more!
