I just about threw up a little bit ago. I had to walk away from the computer to compose myself. One of the newswire threads (D is for download) had a link to a website with the most bizarre collection of covers song I'd ever seen. Some memorable ones include a Tuba/Banjo cover of stairway to heaven, The Theme to bonanza in the German Language, and a Cantonese version of YMCA.
However what was truly fetid was the Cover of Smells like Teen Spirit I heard. They replaced all the instrumentals with people doing vocals consisting of "Ring Ding G'Dang G'Dang"
To refer to it as horseshit would be doing a great disservice to horses. Quite literally and with no hyperbole on the part of my story telling, I started to gag upon hearing this recording. Had I listened to it any longer I would have blown chunks.
But enough of that unpleasantness. After a brief interlude I'm back on this thingy. It does that to you. There were some pleasant surprises awaiting. Namely several months of sets that I get to catch up on. When I saw Eliska's set last night, I was speachless. She's unfathomably gorgious. It was thus with great joy that I discovered she'd done a previous set and I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. (By that I mean sat there with a dumb smile on my face being happy to be alive)
Anyway, gotta sleep. Got me a weekend kitchen job in a nightclub in Bothel. Its a cool place but its a rough weekend for me. Work, get drunk, go home and crash, work, switch jobes work some more, get drunk, go home crash, work....
The only way I get make it is if I'm rested tonight.
Soooooooooooo, I'm off I suppose.
