Horticulture had a plant sale today. I rolled on over after we got the kitchen cleaned up and was excited to discover two bushy little Lemon Verbena. Since I haven't really discovered anyplace where I can buy the stuff, I guess I'll just have to grow it. I'm already contemplating the desserts I could bang out with it. However this is my first attempt at growing something so we'll see how it goes. I also picked up some chives (they're flowering now), pinapple and regular sage, and lemon thyme. I think I'll plant them in a half-barrel so they can get sun in the summer and be moved and protected from wind in the winter.
