I got out of class the other day and since it was sunny and I didn't have a thing I needed to do that whole day, I went to the beach and went for a walk. About a mile out when I was pretty much to myself I smoked a quickie bowl and then walked prolly another mile and half out and then came back. It was a great day out. At one point I almost fell asleep lying on the rocks. Walking on a rocky beach is hard on the feet though and I'd completely forgotten to bring something to drink so i had to head back. Stopped at the grocery store nearby and ate a deli sandwhich, then popped over to a nearby park for a stroll and then down to the beach on the south side of the ferry pier. I walked a little ways down the dog beach but at that point the tide was coming in and I had to head back. Lotta work on the feet but I had fun. Its still early enough in the spring that being outside in the middle of the day isn't staggeringly hot and sweaty. But that'll end soon.

I live somewhat close to the beach. I miss taking a leisurely stroll. I used to do it all of the time. I can't do it now. It's too warm. I don't care about that. It's just that's when everyone and his brother is out there. I'm too self too self conscious to be out there with all of those people whom are better looking than I.
