Today was absolute chaos. There was a huge fire right down the road today and all of downtown and the Washington Street area was without power. That may not sound so bad but keep in mind I live in a school zone right down the road from a major hospital...no power..no traffic lights. It was bad enough that being without power meant that I couldn't do any of my homework but it also meant that everyone in town forgot how to drive. If it hadn't been for the fact that I had places to be I would have found it all quite funny. People would just SIT there at a light for 5 or more minutes..just SIT and panic about what to do...So much for people becoming smarter lol.
Most importantly though, there have been no reports of injuries and while a business was lost, things weren't as bad as they could have been. Being without power made me clean and do some reading and now that the power is back I can do my homework and pout that my set was rejected. On that note, thank you to everyone who has left such kind comments, they're very much appreciated. Finding out that it didn't make the initial cut is in keeping with the rest of my day but I have some hope that it may make it in the long run!

Christmas. And since I tend to be predictable, I will probably wish you a Happy
New Year in another week or so.
But even though these are holiday greetings, you can write me anytime to tell
me how you are doing. Hope you're doing well.
