hello everybody-
hope life is treating you all good or at least decent these days. life for me is pretty damn good for the moment.
i just spent a much needed four days of doing absolutely nothing at all. the best part is that I do not feel the slightest uncomfortable about it.
within those four days of nothing, I went on a day trip to Asheville, NC to visit my grandma whom I hadn't seen since the Christmas of 2004. she lives in this absolutely gorgeous 3-story log cabin in the Appalachian's. it's so peaceful there. it's total escapism.
we conversed about many, many topics, which ranged from travels abroad to Costa Rica, to Jewish beliefs and the Hebrew language, to numerology, to farming and culivating land, to the bible, to .... man, just a lot of stuff. it was all beautiful.
next up on the agenda, includes paying for classes to art school that I will start attending next month. so far on the schedule I have: Memoir Writing, Voice Lessons and Digital Photography.
I am currently in the process of writing my memoir, but I really need the extra input and structuring, so I am very much looking forward to the added confidence I will hopefully gain from this class. and, as far as voice lessons are concerned, I just need to tune my voice just like any other instrument. besides, I am due up to record some vocal demo's and do some vocal work for a few DJ's that you all may have heard of. this will all come with patience ...
and, this time of next week, I will be sitting on the beach in Puerto Rico listening to the nearby chirping of the coqui frog and dancing to some salsa music all night long ....

your bum-about days sounded great. i love times like that.
you're probably on the beach in Puerto Rico right now by the looks, so hope you had fun and remember to get all the sand out of everywhere!
