In late 2013, I was let go from my new job as Advertising Consultant for a local news stream website (week before Christmas to be exact). It couldn't have come at a worse time. I just bought my house earlier that year and had car trouble about 5 weeks before where I totally had to buy another vehicle. Thank god I had a fallback job....

There are increasing numbers of freelancing and online/work from home jobs.... Maybe something like that related to skills you already have?

I have looked into that. I've contracted to several shoots that have been in the region. Even filmed the Blackheart Burlesque show in Wyoming for the SG. I'd love to continue to do things like that. I'd love to film and photograph you lovely ladies for a living! But I think now I'm looking more for an adventure. Maybe a traveling cinematographer or like get on with a doc or news crew somewhere. Idk. Maybe I'm just indecisive.
