calamity

Hey kids,

First off, major thanks and kisses to those of you who've been so supportive about my laptop. Long story short, the NYPD has evidence and a case against a minor (I know who did it and have witnesses and video camera footage), but since I'm a "stupid white girl" in a loft building on a block where there have been 4 homicides in one week, they don't really give a fuck about me. Which is awesome.

A quick post before I pass out for the evening. I am sooooo tired today, and I woke up at 2 pm. There's something wrong with me, I know it. I feel like Epstein Barr is not totally out of the running as a possibility.....


Just in case you have ever wondered what I'd look like while eating a cupcake, by golly, you are in luck! I made you a present which I like to call "CalamiCupcakeCarnage."



....mmm, cupcakes. Like cake, which I will hopefully be eating on my birthday (*wink wink, nudge nudge*) which happens to be in a few short days (the 19th, to be exact). (it's also Frost's birthday on the 19th--we're totally b-day twins so wish her well too!)

I went to Jersey Friday night with my amazing roomate, Scarlett. We did a shoot on Saturday with S&S Photography, which was sweeeeeeet. We based these shots off of illustrations found in 50's fetish mags. I rather like how they turned out. (and yes, I was really balancing the books, for about an hour--and Taschen books are HEAVY!)







I've been doing some fan art sketches lately (not like I really have time, but I do have the need to just freakin' draw sometimes) and I'm liking how they've turned out. Here's a few below:


This is of the always clever Drake. from her most recent sets. Hers are some of the most creative and well exectuted on this site, I think, so you should go check them out and leave her love.


This was done of the gorgeous Meow, also from her most recent set for the Fan Art group's current art jam. So hot. I was all distracted while drawing her boobs, I have to say, whn looking at the reference pic. Haha.


I also lurrrrrrrve fan art, so if you want to make me really happy for my b-day (sans-wishlist--I know how it is), you could make me some fun stuff and I'd send kisses a plenty in your direction.
