well, i guess my set went up, hey?
it's funny.... the icon lit up thursday evening, and friday the set went up. i feel special.... i didn't even have time to write the intro! i like the one missy wrote though.... i was at a bit of a loss, myself.
and now, some credits:
+Charlie was of course the wonderful photographer/photoshopper.... she also was the person to come up with the concept AND she made most of the teensy props you see! it was mostly her vision; i just went along for the ride. she's a peach to shoot with.
+Daria was the stylist/hair and makeup artiste, and i think we can all agree she did a fabulously creative job. i adore the feathers.
+some other fun facts:
- we had to shoot the set at 5 am in the morning
- there was a guy asleep on the couch while all of this was being shot
- i did a ton of research on 1920s/1930s lingerie before the shoot
- the pink hair dye in my hair is all over my hands and neck(you can see it if you look carefully)
- the door in the back is creatively placed to cover an electrical outlet
- Charlie spent most of the shoot doing acrobatics on the floor to try and get the best shots, which i totally appreciate.
i'm reading through all the comments now.... i apologize for not being able to reply to everyone..... but i really, really appreciate all the comments. i am happy to see that i broke 1000! i bet it would have been a little higher if the servers hadn't been down....
oh yeah....
♥ i love this boy more than anything else in the world. ♥
and now, to shower and unpack from my vermonty campy experience this weekend.
