Yesterday was so fucking cool. I got a call on Saturday around 3:00, from my friend Michelle saying that they were coming down to Ottawa, and that we could drive up to the Montreal Warped tour in the morning.
They came into town around 8:00, and we ate some pizza, and basically went to bed. The next morning we got up at 5:30, and didn't leave until almost 8. We went to Mcdonalds, and then went on our way. Then, about 5 minutes after we got onto the highway, Shivonne realized that she didn't have her cellphone. So, we pulled off of the road, and turned around. Then, about 5 seconds after we turned around, she realized it was in the side of the car door. Finally we found our way back to the 417, and we were on our way. By the time we got to the Jacques Cartier bridge, it was PACKED. Mostly because of Warped tour, although, that got me even more excited. We finally got to the park, and parked the car, and got to the end of the line. I wish I had gotten a picture, because it was Ridiculous. The longest line I have ever seen in my life. I finally left my friends in line and got the tickets. I realized after I had the tickets, that there was a detour into the line, close up to the gates! I called my friends to tell them, and let me tell you, it was quite the preticament to finally get them in. Fuck me, it was horrible. we finally got in, and got a beer. It was so amazing after the trip, and the line excursion. We saw the schedule, and I noticed Gogol Bordello wasn't there that day!
But then I had another beer and forgot about it. We kindly took a seat on a huge hill until I had to get another beer. On the way to get the next beer, I fell down the hill. I think it was the highlight of my day, because it was just so retarded. Then I decided that I would take a journey to all of the bands whose stickers I'm going to use in my sets merch stand (did anyone actually catch that?). The first tent I went to was the pink spiders, the actual band wasn't there, so I just left. Then I went to the sleeping. The singer was way more overjoyed then I has expected and made a huge deal about. He also made me give him a hug, and told me to come back after I grabbed my beer, and shit like that. So, I went back and took a picture of me and the guitarist, but it looked just like two shadows hugging each other. Then I told Doug (the singer) that he could wear my hoodie onstage if he got us side stage for thier show. He's quite a bit bigger then me, and it was skin tight on him, but it looked adorable. He wore it for the next 3+ hours, and didn't want to give it back! Then he dragged me outside of the tent to take a picture, I put my hand on his left check, so I could kiss him on the right cheek. But immediatly after I kissed him on the cheek, he turned and kissed me. Right when the camera went off none-the-less. It kind of looks like I'm like...raping him, though, just because my hand is on his cheek. But you can tell by the fact that I'm still trying to kiss his cheek in the picture. That didn't work out too well. He kept telling me things like "You're too good looking" and "you're so hot". It was a great confidance booster, especially since it was the frontman for an awesome band. Then I went onto The Pink Spiders tent, Where the merch guy told me to take off my shirt and put thier stickets on my boobs so they could take pictures. Annnnd I did. Even the lead singer took out his camera phone and took a bunch of pictures. I created a spectacle around the tent, because everyone wanted to know why the fat girl had her shirt off. I also hit up the Stiletto formal, General Rudie, Halifax, and I am the avalanche. They were all super nice, and gave me big hugs etc.
..More later, when my crazy friends aren't staring/laughing at me. creep-town!
