The system works!!
Applied for EI the other day, after having gone to Ontario Works for assistance. Gave OW my confirmation that I applied for EI, and they sent me almost $1200. I have now paid off all but $100 of my credit card (including $35 in late fees), my bank overdraft, my $300 cable/internet bill, a $76 phone bill, and my portion of the rent.
I feel so happy, like a humongous weight has been lifted!! And I start my new job in 8 hours! Hope you all have a wonderful Friday
