Today was spiffy. Sam swung by after work. Mari was not with him. 
Shes sick with a bad case of bronchitis. And pink eye. Not cool. So shes staying down south and getting better.
He and I hit The Last Samurai (um yeah, by hit I mean watched, dont worry I didnt run over Tom Cruise with my car in 1800s Japan or anything. All you Tom Cruise fans can breath easy). I thought it was very good, quite the touching tale. It doesnt effect me like LOTR, which will apparently be the new benchmark against which I shall set all other movies. But it was very good.
