see pictures of the stryker after the bomb in my pics. see my blood on my pants? my IBA is offf so that is why chest is clean. but the dirt on my face is nothing more than dried blood i tried to wipe off with a bottle of water.
so this buddy of mine who haunts my nightmares all the time and for like a month everytime i closed my eyes and heard tthe explosion getting knocked out then his horrible, horrible screaming. and he s screaming for all kinds of crazy shit and like a kidd owwoow and mom so primal and it doesn't stop the whole way when i driving him to the emergeny battlefield tramua center. and i got this thing going, because i got to try to keep it smooth because his legs broken into bits, seven times up and down the leg and i've got to try and go as fast as possible. all the while it's night out. no headlights. i'm driving by a night device that is like looking at a pocket black and white television. and this screens becoming more and more covered with my blood with each breath i exhale more and more spots all over the screen. but i get him there and it's all sort of all right noww.
so when i get back to alaska and finally get the chance to hug him i'm all over it. and we reminciss. and i get that nightmare again more and more this time with little kids i saw all fucked up or just begginggi, holding out their arms for more than the candy and soccerballs i throw them. something i'll never be able to give them. but still i want to and now i got to forgive myself let their pain go. but that's getting beside the point.
the point is that my bro who screamed like one of those guys caught out in the open near enemy positions screaming all horrible and everyone hears them it haunts them and even you as you watch it... this friend turned me on to a band many of you probably already know about.
but this one song, it's just fucking rocking... avenge seven fold--"seize the day" it's as haunting as he scream. also check out the dope-ass video.
and bro if you're out there i hope one day you won't limp. you feel that crushing pain. that you still will never remember that part of the night when we caught fire and heard your pain too sharply in our hearts and minds.
peace,
chris
