Whistler is a beautiful place. The drive from Vancouver to Whistler was longer then expected because they are doing construction in preparation for the 2008 Winter Olympics. But not a bad place to be stuck in traffic. Have a phenomenal view of the snow top mountains, valley lakes and tree lined granite hill sides. Coming from an ocean city, seeing nature like this is spectacular. The weather is amazing. It has been in the upper 70s and in mid 40s at night.
Walked around the village yesterday and this morning took a gondola ride to the tope the mountain.
