Did I see you standing there?
Lately I have to wonder if I dreamed you.
Yet, still I ache and burn.
Waiting for my future to return.
And with it,
you,
In all your wonder,
To lead me home,
Burning in the hearth,
The light of life unknown,
And yet I know it well.
For in times past,
Witnessed in my slumber,
Though I be fully awake,
And ready for this journey,
To take.
I wait in the impatience of my soul.
When the fates my future unfold,
Mighty joyeous rapture,
I may behold.
And you, in all your splendor,
Untold,
lilting at my side.
Riches will be mine,
And the embrace of true Agape love,
forever baptizing me within,
The wings of peace,
Surrounding me in my wonder.
The garments of saddness,
Torn asunder.
Now clothed and bathed,
In radiant recumbency,
I wake, to find you wrapped around me,
A whole comprised of two,
Joined as one.
Now I am plenary.
