Saw Flogging Molly last night at the Fillmore in Denver.
Several Points:
1) Flogging Molly are even better live than recorded. The show was great.
2) A highlight of the evening was the mosh pit, where my glasses were punched right off my face. No bruising, no bleeding, but no vision either. Blind now .

3) The Fillmore should be re-named to something more indicative of a police state, perhaps the Iron Curtain or the Red Gulag. I was sternly asked to move to a distance > 1 ft away from the top of the stairs by no less than 3 separate bouncers when I had to the audacity to pause briefly before proceeding down the stairs. Their concern for my safety seems a trifle stoopud considerig the people bleeding from the noses and other areas coming out of the mosh pit. Also, the stairs were only 3 steps high. They must have had an "incident" or something to merit the paranoia.
