This is one of those rare days when I wish I was working in my real job.. another guy in my job is here visiting the office, and he volunteered to go to Iraq. I want to go to Iraq.
I know it would suck, but at least I would feel like I'm doing something instead of sitting on my ass doing not-much-of-anything-at-all.
Don't get me wrong, I love working in this office. I have fun and I am doing more than most people in the basement, but I still feel like I should be doing more.
There's nothing I can do about it now. I can't even get near my job until I get my final clearance, and that will probably be at least another year away. It seems like most people sit in support department for the first year and a half of their 2 years here..

what's your real job?
blindside:
I'm sure you're still performing an important duty. Patience?
