Just a quick update because I am at work.
I am back in the SGUK group now and that makes me highly chuffed. Thanks to the 10 people who vouched me back in, you rock. Now I need to sort out somewhere to stay for the Leeds meet
The Zinefest I went to was good, busy and I met a few contacts. The geek convention wasn't nearly as wierd as I'd hoped, it was kinda like a massive Forbidden Planet with some old toys and even older actors charging 15 for a signature or photo. I was expecting some goofballs to be all dressed up like obscure Anime characters and goblins and stuff but it was mostly kids with a stripey scarf and a lighning bolt felt tipped on their heads. Pah! So no funny/disturbing photos I'm afriad.
I did pick some bendy star wars toys though. Bendy Darth Vader now lives in my bag. He's currently using the Force to touch the back of his head with his foot. The Dark Side is most uncomfy.
That's all for now. I'll sort my tiny profile pic out later tonight and keep your eyes on my website for updates in the next day or two. It will be special.
