I will admit that I go a little overboard on some things, unsurprisingly, Halloween is one of them, my casket/coffin collection is another. Christmas this year...also one. I added a 6th tree this year (the little black and purple one) and did stockings for my whole polycule (lovingly called the poly pocket), and friends who are tightly close to the Pocket. I repurpose our porch ghoul to be krampus and this year I left the shibari spider webs from Halloween up and hung ornaments on them ..now they're snowflakes....right?
Tomorrow after a very hectic day today, I will be making way too many damn cookies and gifting them to my Pocket and close people but in tins that were actually meant to be urns (never used of course!) Because you can't have goth holiday spirit without a little macabre and dark humor.
